Interventional psychiatry is a subspecialty of psychiatry that adjust and treat faulted brain networks which caused the majority of mental illness. Sometime interventional psychiatry is called “neuromodulation”.
Like other field of medicine, where there is an interventional cardiology or interventional radiology; interventional psychiatry is complementary to traditional psychiatric care of medication and psychotherapy. Together, they are complementing each other to help patients. Many of our patients were suffering from mental illness that did not respond to traditional psychiatric care of medications, or therapy.
